- FogPASS gives a loco pilot positional guidance in poor visibility. Path Pradarshak covers that need and adds the control room's current safety picture — cautions, restrictions and route knowledge — so the cab is working from the same information the division is, not just from GPS.
- Does it work where there is no mobile signal?
- Yes. It is offline-first, holding route and caution data locally and synchronising when a connection is available. Sections with no coverage are exactly the sections where crew guidance matters most, so depending on live connectivity would defeat the purpose.
- Why voice guidance rather than a screen?
- A loco pilot's eyes belong on the track. Voice delivers the alert without competing for visual attention, with the display available for information the pilot chooses to look at rather than information pushed at them.
